Hugh Feeley began playing in the 70's with Ricky Jolivet (Bo Diddley's nephew), Doctor Boo (Chester Lindsey), Charley Donlan and Gloria Jolivet. Through Ricky he got to meet Bo Diddley, Willie Dixon, Robert Cray and played a number of shows with Bo.  When the nightclub Desperado's was in its heyday, it became Hugh's second home and he was in attendance nearly every night to soak up the music of James Cotton, Muddy Waters, George Thorogood, Junior Wells and Buddy Guy, Paul Butterfield, T-birds, Albert King, Albert Collins, Luther Allison, Robert Cray, Charlottesville All Stars, Night Hawks, Danny Gatton & Tex Rubinowitz.  In 1982 he accepted an invitation to hit the road with Ben Andrews and gained valuable experience from the pairing.  In 1988 he put together his first Hugh Feeley & Talk is Cheap lineup and can still be found working the area with his group.
